I havent played them all, but I liked 10 the best.

1 is fun and a neat little title (GBA version)

2 is fun as well and I don't understand all the hate (GBA version as well)

6 is cool and probably my second favorite

7 was a snooze fest. Didn't finish it

10 was great fun, combat was great, characters were overall pretty cool, and the summoning mechanic was the best.

12 was different. I might try to replay it again. I never beat it but I had fun with it. I kinda started the game at a point in life where I was too busy to game.

FFTA was fun. Loved the job system and just the gameplay was great

I've played bits and pieces of 14, 9, 8 but I don't think I played enough to fairly judge them.

I like them all to some extent (save for the MMOs), but IV is my favorite, followed by VI, VII, IX, and XII.

I grew up with Final Fantasy as one of the first games I ever played, back on NES, and then playing VI a lot on SNES when it was still called III here. I have too much nostalgia to not still love them, so I guess maybe one of those two. I've played I, II, III, V, VI, VII, and XII.

oh it's definitely inferior, I just like being able to use one class and use another skill from another class, although it's very limited being only one slot and all.

I love Tactics and 5. They are better than 4 and 6 imo.

Sure 5's story isn't as good, but the gameplay makes up for it.
The characters in 5 are great too.
Gilgamesh is one of the best characters in the series.

That's actually a harder question that ppl give it credit for. Least favourite is much easier.
I, II, III: Good back in the day but hard to get through now.
III remake: Not bad, a bit rough around the edges but the core game is there.
IV: Some of my favourite moments from the early series and decent overall.
V: No thanks, more of the same and few memorable moments.
VI: Better than IV and some really great moments.
VII: Equal favourite with XII, best story and one of the more entertaining battle systems but graphically inconsistent/underutilized.
VIII: Graphically exactly what I'd always wanted from an FF (up to that point) but not the most interesting story.
IX: Story just irritated me and the art style wasn't my thing but graphically impressive for the PS1
X: Looked great, played well, characters irritating for the most part and story was meh/no payoff
X-2: No. If you want fun spinoffs, try Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus.
XII: Equal favourite with VII, art style, characters and graphics were great, story a little less so in places but aside from the mostly useless espers, I liked the gambits system and I've been playing it almost nonstop on PS4 since Zodiac age came out.
XIII: Looked nice, decent voice acting and intermittently entertaining but essentially an action adventure corridor simulator with RPG elements.
XIII-spinoffs: Why? See X-2.
XV: Open world design was great and had some nice set pieces but they phoned in the ending, combat was a clusterf**k, not the best in terms of story and character development was almost nonexistent except enough for us to decide which of the bros we liked best (Ignis was the correct answer if you were unsure), unless you count the extended story through the movie/webseries which was a nice experiment but not the way it should be done-the game should be self contained.

I've enjoyed most of them for one reason or another and for a time, almost every new one was better than the last in some way but those days are over, technical improvements not withstanding.

I've only played up to FFX-2. Out of those 11 games, I liked FFIV, FFVI, FFVIII, and FFIX the best. I can't decide my favorite out of those.
