Seems like a mix of Mtg and hearthstone. Anyways I just want to draft and dont want to spend money. Is there any way to get draft tickets or gems as rewards for something or can you just not draft without spending money?
In heathstone I could do anything in the game without spending money.
I probably stop playing if that is not possible.

Does anyone know?

I played it a little bt about half a year ago so some of this may be different (or remembered wrong) but:

There's two types of currency. One is paid for with real money, and one is earned by things like getting far in singleplayer gauntlet mode, completeing daily challenges, winning pvp matches, etc. The only thing paid currency can do that free currency can't is buy certain cosmetic items. Things like draft, booster packs, etc can be paid for with either type of currency.

I'm not sure how viable it is to pay for drafts entirely with other drafts, they're pretty expensive to enter iirc. Then again they might give lots of rewards if you do well too, I don't know since I never tried one

Man I am dumb.

I clicked on the draft button once and saw that I needed gold and gems to play.
But those are 2 different buttons. I can play only with gold too.
Wow.

Well thanks anyway. I like the game much much better now.
