I went to my car and tried to use my remote to open the locks. They didn't open. I had to use my key to get inside. Then I went to turn the ignition. There was no resistance, and the car wouldn't start.

My dad took the liberty of spending hundreds of dollars on parts and calling my brother in law to fix it.

I can't help but think there's more at work than "it just broke", especially since there wasn't any sign of anything wrong the last time I used the car. Add to it the fact that my father and I had an argument yesterday about whether I should call my brother in law for help to get a whole bunch of work done on my car or whether I should take it to a garage, and it starts looking like sabotage.

I'm not well.

Sounds like the battery, or possibly a fuse or 2.
