consider it in the same vein as DC Elseworld stories that do insane things like batman becomes a bloodthirsty vampire

I mean obviously it's non canon. Otherwise they'd have to cancel every book besides Deadpool. Unless they did something crazy like replace every character in every book with Deadpool.

the only reason this books concept exists is that he ended up on the wrong side of the secret empire event not even knowing he was playing for the bad guys and the heroes apparently aren't gonna forgive him for that
