Maybe the offices weren't big enough and they needed to expand. Happened for department of Revenue in Minnesota.

aaaand then you showed up, upon which your strange thought process took place, even though after my acknowledgement i didn't once question, or rather, "whine" about it again. i never even thought it was confusing. i was literally just curious about it. my life doesn't change if i knew why or didn't know why. it's just a thing. is no one allowed to be curious?
