i sold a game yesterday morning, buy it now, and this guy contacted me immediately to confirmed my paypal address (not sure why he did this), ok?

i told him it was correct and if he paid me that day i'd get the game out to him first thing in the morning.

it's been a day plus and heard nothing from the guy, and no payment. literally every sale i've made on ebay, the buyer has paid immediately, so i'm not used to waiting this long, and he seemed to want it in a hurry.

is this guy fucking with me, or am i just being impatient?

48 hours? I would always just put a note in the auction saying payment required within 24 hours.

You don't automatically pay when you win? No wonder eBay sucks so much.

Every time I bought something on eBay via eCheck (old school PayPal feature) I was forced to wait for it to clear before they even shipped the item.

Always wait until it clears.

Give him 2 days then contact him

If nothing happens a day after that tell him you're going to relist it if he doesn't cough up or in an extreme case file a complaint with PayPal.

Yeah, the best thing to do is let browsers/potenial buyers know how long you're willing to wait for payment (ie Payment must be received 3 days after auction ends). You can also let them know you're not going to tolerate members with less than a year on eBay or 10 positive feedbacks etc.. the item description can be used to set all sorts of terms and conditions
