What's a fork/split? Basically the newest blockchain would recognize only certain miners and nodes based on whatever new update their pushing is. The older miners/nodes would technically be a separate block chain. The new ones would have a copy of it with updated features. Bitcoin to me is just stupid. Too many Chinese buying it because they are very limited on what they can invest in. Probably crime tied into bitcoin as well. Meh ill laugh when it either gets hacked and goes to $0 or so many "digital currencies" come out that they will all be worthless.
