Couldn't care for the nes, most worthwhile games have been re released multiple times. I'll probably actually make an attempt to get a snes mini and I'd probably ebay a n64 mini if they do one next.

I wonder if the disk space will be half utilized on the SNES Mini as well so you can hack it to add more games to it, cuz I might have done it to the NES Mini...

The game selection is very poor, and it costs more than the NES mini. And the supply problems will still be there, perhaps even worse this time. And they don't even sell controllers separately. Sounds like a disaster for consumers.

Not interested but only for the fact that I've got an raspberry pi with every emulator I can cram in there and classic NES and SNES controllers (with cords that are long enough to be useful) all for a fraction of the cost so they can keep their overpriced, under stocked nostalgia bait.

The "problem" is that it is not worth it to produce small enough memory units.
The Nes Mini had 512 MB which is big enough to store most retail-released Nes games.
The Snes Mini will most likely use 512 MB as well. Snes games are bigger, but those games will easily fit and have space over, so there is no need for Nintendo to use a bigger memory.

There is a better, more convenient, and legal way to play these games.

But people don't necessarily want these for the games themselves, but rather to its value which will skyrocket in 20 years.
