I was at an amusement park this weekend and some idiot dropped his cell phone from about 200 ft in the air. He was trying to film the ride. Watching his cell phone drop seemed like it was in slow motion.

Rollercoasters are designed to be safe since it's important to minimize the amount of g forces put on the person's body. Plus if rollercoaster deaths were common, there wouldn't be much of a business for them.
