I didn't really care for the first episode. Hannah seems so narcissistic in orchestrating this master plan involving a bunch of tapes that could easily get lost/damaged and an activity map to make things more difficult. It kinda turns me off the whole show, girl could've written a Tumblr blog or uploaded it on YouTube/ Instagram videos or sent emails to the people she wanted to hear the tapes. And why do they care if the tapes go public? If its just slander or incriminating evidence you could just deny it.

Also, the high school actors don't look like teenagers. I mean they do in an artificial way, just wear loose clothing and shave type of a way but their face and hairlines stick out for me.

What's up with that Tony guy acting all mysterious. Dude looks like he got held back a couple years and listens to cassettes in 2017 while stalking others at night. Guy sounds like a loser. Clay should've got a fake Hannah cassette and stomped it in to see what his next plan was.

I'm kinda disappointed. I wasn't expecting to be blown away but there were so many teenagers and people in their early 20s on Facebook talking about how Hannah and the show portrayed the seriousness of depression and bullying. But the execution of the show seemed too corny and the way everybody interacts just seems odd. Idk maybe I'm too old.

You might like the book better. I haven't watched the show, but I really enjoyed the book.
