That is saying nothing of those who toe the thin blue line and look the other way and corroborate with the bad ones. One way or another, even if only through complacence, they look out for their own and themselves before they look out for the people. It seems clear America's police need a severe overhaul at the very least, or a sharp strike down from overhead to severely punish those that fuck up to drive home the message it won't be tolerated. I'm not sure I would go so far as to call those that go along with it "not good" as it may well be many simply can't - lack of any position to make a change, or simply out of fear of losing their job. And even if I blew a whistle on the first offense I found out about in my area? Well, let's just say those who don't "defend the blue brotherhood" have a knack for getting into "accidents" they don't walk away from, or if the bad apples are feeling nice, they'll just get you thrown off the force instead. (IE: Can't be a good cop when you're dead or not a cop anymore.)
