How invested in Planned Parenthood are the politicos of California? It would appear that the state’s protection of the baby butcher mill is enthusiastic, to say the least.

In the latest move, regarding the case of David Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress, Daleiden, CMP, and two of his attorneys were held in civil contempt for a series of videos released in May.

The videos were undercover footage of a National Abortion Federation meeting, where the heartless wretches of the abortion industry met to speak in the coldest of terms about the atrocities that are committed in their facilities every day.

Judge William Orrick, the presiding judge, awarded approximately $137,000 to the National Abortion Federation, presumably because the money they bragged about receiving from harvesting dead baby parts isn’t enough to get them to their goals of advanced income through lost humanity.

So, my immediate issue with this story and interpretation is that:

1: The source for this is an avowed pro-life website that suggests you sign a petition to defund Planned Parenthood, creating a conflict of interest with journalistic integrity and the biases of the website owner..

2: The website that RedState stole all this info from (lifenews) is self-referential. E.g, it does not provide external sources outside of deleted youtube videos. It claims that these videos were deleted , however, the videos states it was deleted for "violating terms of service", meaning it's very possible that the article writer is lying. There's no indication of false DMCA takedowns or coercion into removal by the video maker.

3: The videos that I could find of this are around 2 years old and are heavily edited, and we already had a rodeo where videos were deceptively edited (by Project Veritas) to accuse Planned Parenthood of something they didn't commit. I'm not totally certain, but these could even be the same videos reposted by other Youtube accounts.

Essentially: The nefarious spin on the story is likely a load of shit, because all parties reporting on this have a vested personal and financial interest in their opponents looking as bad as possible.

Orrick ruled Daleiden’s lawyers, former Los Angeles prosecutor Steve Cooley and Brentford Ferreira, had also violated his injunction. Ferreira said Monday they would appeal the judge’s contempt ruling.

He's not being punished for being pro-life, he's being punished for doing what the court already told him not to do. You would not know this from reading the article TC posted.

Daleiden is facing felony charges in California accusing him of recording people without their permission in violation of state law.

Orrick issued a preliminary injunction that blocked the release of videos made by the Center for Medical Progress at meetings of the National Abortion Federation, an association of abortion providers. He also blocked the release of any names of NAF members.

The National Abortion Federation had argued that releasing the videos and names would endanger its members.

A federal appeals court in March upheld Orrick's ruling.
