The eShop is down so you can't even buy it. I don't know why you couldn't pre download it like other Nintendo games.

yup e shop was fine up until 8 30 pm here in Vancouver then at 9 pm when they digital game releases the store keeps giving a error code , i did get in for 4 seconds then it disconnected and saw splatoon up for sale so i think its getting overloaded with people trying to get on and buy the game . remember this is Nintendo all there online stuff is 20 years behind sony and xbox as look at that junk app for chat .

Managed to get onto eshop & buy it, then the error kicked me off again.

They took my money, but I didnt get the software. So now I have to go through extra bs tomorrow.

I picked it up at wal-mart. Hopefully the game's online itself will be up. If not at least there's Hero Mode to get some practice in, since I missed the Testfires

This is the only day off I have for the next two weeks so "tomorrow" doesn't really cut it. I was hoping to get at least a couple of games in tonight, but I guess it was too much to hope that Nintendo would have any sense owhen it came to designing their online services.

I managed to get my download going after nearly an hour. And that's with me buying the code off Amazon, because I wasn't going to rely on Nintendo charging me in the middle of this madness.
