Why do they always pick superheroes that literally should be fit as gymnasts and acrobats for this. There's no way they're not burning enough calories to stay that trim. If they wanted to make a point they should only do it to ones that aren't exactly physical combat oriented, like people that derive powers from technology or magic items or psychics.

I'd love to see people with those body types do all the crazy flips and other gymnastic stuff that the superheroes do on a seemingly regular basis.

I anything it'd make way more sense to make her smaller, look younger, and have less tits. As Olympic gymnasts usually do.

ROFL they made Spiderman look like a flabby balding middle-aged business executive. This doesn't make them look realistic, it just makes them look unhealthy.

Superheroes definitely don't have realistic bodies, but if you wanted to make them look realistic for REAL, you would widen the waists of some of the impossibly Barbie-waisted women and shrink the muscles of the men. In some cases change the body proportions (legs too long sometimes). But they should maintain trim, muscular figures, and not turn into the unhealthy, flabby bodies that these photomanipulators have.

When you think about it, Superman should kinda be fat. Muscle is built from getting torn up by resistance and then being rebuilt bigger than before. But Superman has no resistance! He's just naturally strong from his powers. So why would he be all big and muscular? Unless he's like, doing bench presses with giant icebergs or something. Maybe that's what he does.

Same thought I had. He's mostly machine, why would he be pudgy?

Also all of these superheroes are super athletic, their bodies would probably still look similar to how they're drawn, at least in terms of muscle tone and amount of fat. If they wanted to make them more realistic looking they should have shrunk the boob size of most of the women and made the guys uglier. That's stuff that only plastic surgery will change and I'm guessing most super heroes don't do plastic surgery.
