A Security Robot created by Knightscope was patrolling the offices in Washington DC when it rolled into a fountain and committed SUICIDE instead!!

The incident went viral after Bilal Farooqui, an employee took the picture of the 300 pound android in the fountain and said "we were promised flying cars, instead we got suicidal robots"

The K5 Robot measures 5' tall and is rented out to malls office buildings and parking lots to enforce order with a built in camera, license plate recognition and thermal imaging

The robot is very popular as it spins and whistles and is very aware of its environment..but the robot met its demise when it rolled down the stairs and fell into the fountain seemingly killing itself.

Employees were pictured dragging it out of the water as Knightscope is delivering a new robot for free

Security Robots are seen as the next generation of technology to replace human jobs but it seems it still needs some kinks..
