Now, I dont plan on hoarding silver or anything, but I figured I'd purchase a small investment for myself.

I also bought a 1oz silver bar so I could get free shipping for spending over 100bux. The two bars I have are within 50cents the cheapest sold on the website i bought from(and i looked at another). There are all kinds of higher priced .999 bars, and coins and stuff, but if I am using silver as an investment, since I am already paying over spot I dont see the point.


I dont know much about investing, which is why I dont plan on stacking or hoarding silver(but silver coins i find and buy at face value are fair game) like some people. But I did want to have a nice shiny bar though.

Man, buying precious metals is no joke. This is serious business. got a 4% discount even further because i mailed a check, but the list of requirements leaves little room for error. If they dont get your payment in ten days you're fucked, if you wish to cancel your order youre fucked, etc. In fact I almost didnt put my order number on the memo line of the check, which could have fucked me good.

This bar unfortunately doesnt come with the decoder lens to check the mintmark. I could buy one for 17 dollars but thats wasted money and i know its guaranteed since i bought from a reputable company. The worth of the decoder lens is for private sales, i imagine. looks cool but ultimately that just takes away money from my investment, which is dumb.

The websites all say free shipping but I neglected to see the microscopic asterisk detailing you must spend a hundred bucks. so i retooled my order and made a new topic.
