I was a huge NIN fan in the 90s and 00s, but everything after Fragile has just been...lacking. the post Fragile albums all seem like he's just going through the motions imitating Nine Inch Nails instead of actually being Nine Inch Nails.

I remember you saying this before, and while I think he'll rehash himself at times (The Slip), he's pretty consistent at reinventing himself with each release. I've listened to all of it. It's just missing something that the earlier albums had. The lyric writing isn't there, the sound is thinner and tinny. It's ok, but it sounds more like a 5 minute intro song as the beat doesn't really go anywhere. Reminds me of Tool.

The intro was way too long, which is always annoying. And then the rest was not special. I was bored and waiting for it to end. I'm glad the whole song wasn't longer. Shorten that intro and write an actual song.
