Riot: To take part in a violent public disturbance.

You could say people in a riot act in...an anarchistic manner? Now are you going to nitpick even more? Or agree to disagree?

It's nitpicking to point out that 2 words don't mean the same thing?

How many attempts did it take you to graduate high school? Or did you just drop out?

Gamergate. A community of people online participating in brutal, misogynist, harassment campaign under the false guise of "fighting for ethics in game journalism", while having basically no ethics of themselves.

Evergreen State College stuff too. I honestly struggle to believe its all real as it seems so cartoonish. Everything the students participating in these protests do is insanely hypocritical. Forcing their own voice to be heard and silencing any other voices.

Almost everything the far-left protests these days is every bit as dumb as the stuff the religious right used to protest a couple of decades ago.

BLM - Petty protests against police and government that ignore the issues that are actually destroying black communities, such as gangs, black on black violence, low attainment rates, single parenthood and a culture that's thrived for decades on the soft bigotry of low expectations.

Antifa - Engaging in wanton rioting, looting, intimidation and violence because people want to express opinions contrary to there own. All the while calling people fascist while engaging in fascist behaviour themselves.

Communists/Anarcho-Communists/Anti-Capitalists/ - Protesting against the very system that's giving you the freedom to protest is beyond dense, name me a communist or socialist country where you''re free to protest for capitalism unhindered. There aren't any because they're either failed states, or dictatorships who'd lock you away or put a bullet through your head for the trouble. This applies to the more hardcore veins of socialism too.

Feminism - Literally a movement persisting on first world problems and modern myths, at least in the western world. You want to protest about Saudi-Arabia's treatment of women, I'm with you. You want to protest about the "pink tax" and the "pay gap" go away.

Anti-Trump/Anti-Brexit protestors - You're protesting against democracy, pack it in you idiots or it'll bite you on the arse once the shoe is on the other foot. It should be noted I mean people protesting against trump being elected, not people protesting against stuff he's done in office.

ANTIFA, by far.

Pretty much anything spawned by the left these days, something which I considered myself a member of until they dialed up their pants on the head insanity.

Communism is to the right, not the left.

Also, the US is a socialist country. What do you think taxes and Medicare and Social Security are?

And you think I didn't finish high school? Maybe you should ask your parents about communism.

You literally think 2 different words have the same meaning. You've proven you don't know shit and I doubt you could tell the difference between your ass and your mouth.

Communism is a left wing ideology, sources are on the page below.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Left%E2%80%93right_political_spectrum

Political scientists and other analysts regard the Left as including anarchists,[16][17] communists, socialists and social democrats,[18] left-libertarians, progressives, and social liberals.[19][20] Movements for racial equality are also usually linked with left-wing organizations.[21] Trade unionism is also associated with the left.[22]

As for the US being socialist, no. The US is a free market constitutional republic with some socialist systems, the systems are supplementary to capitalism, acting as a safety net, they're there in spite of it, not in place of it. The same could be said of the NHS in the UK, not all socialist systems are bad, but an entirely socialist government/country almost always is as there's only so much public money you can steal.

Anti-Trump: It's one thing to say that Trump is a **** president, but crying out the Nile river on every website and social media outlet you can find about the man, demonizing and generalizing every person that supports him as racist and fascist makes you just as bad as him, if not worse

I bet you had no problem with people attacking Obama every chance they got.

Pointing out all the bad shit Trump is doing doesn't make us as bad as him. He's the fucking president; he has actual power.

I had the initial oh no a liberal president reaction! Because at the time I was heavily influenced by my parents views but after the initial "oh no!" We really didnt give a damn, we lived our lives as we normally always did when Bush was in office and that was it.

Men aren't oppressed for being men.
*edit*
Plus a movement for equality through empowering everyone and dismantling toxic power structures has been around well before MRA came around.

Black Lives Matter and safe spaces.

For the record, black lives do matter. That movement itself is being exploited and people are falling for it hard.

Anyone who gets passionate about ethics in gaming journalism needs to step outside and go the park or something. Or not. It's their life.

Corporate politicians, the war in the middle east, pollution, global warming, third world child abuse and neglect. Third world little girl circumcisions. No, ethics in Kotaku. "Some bimbo's banging everyone at Kotaku and it's ruining everything!" "She's not a bimbo you misogynists!"

Real issues are boring and they'll never be sensational. That's why almost every fad is going to be stupid.
