It was Earthbound (complete in box with strategy guide), but I sold that last year for around $650. One of my favorite games ever, but I just can't see myself ever playing it again, and I'm not really a collector so it didn't make much sense for a game that expensive to just sit there

I did keep a few other rare ones because of the memories they hold, but they are considerably easier to find

I got them when it came out. I bought it and loved the game. My best friends dad worked at Best Buy and was big into video games too and told us how they didn't make many copies for the US. He let me use his discount and I decided to just buy 10 copies. I paid around $425 for them all. Could likely get at least 4k these days.

That's the only teenage "investment" I had that ever worked out.

I also have 100 new copies of NBA jam for the Sega CD that are worthless but I got for $10 on eBay 15 years ago.

This was another game I sold last year. I was expecting it to be at least worth $100, but I had trouble selling it for $40.

Of course that doesn't mean its not rare, but it really doesn't go for much (or atleast it didn't last year)

EDIT: Wait, maybe I had something different. Mine only had OoT and Masters Quest. The one you're talking about could be rare
