I assume most of them have never tried it, because it's not a strong taste at all, unlike stuff like olives or anchovies.

Yesterday, me and my friends were chilling playing some mario party and we got pizza.

A cheese and a veggie. Anyways, one of them constantly talks about hating pineapple on pizza.

He eats some of the veggie and it had pineapple on it, but he didn't notice it until after we were done and I pointed it out.

He said it was actually not bad.

frankly i prefer cheese pizza with extraordinarily high quality ingredients including tomato, bread, spinach, etc

toppings just ruin the dish imo, and are only really good on cheep pizza

Pineapple and Ham are two things that go hand in hand. When they're put on a pizza together, it's really not bad.

Personally I shift from being a supreme type (except olives or fish toppings) to just plain pepperoni constantly.

That's the type of pizza given at the kids table I eat my pizza with cheese, tomato sauce and anything else has to be meat none of that farm animal food known as vegetables or fruits.

That makes no sense, since the only people bitching were the ones who decided they had to let everybody know how much they hate pineapples on pizza. If they had accepted that their tastes aren't universal, this wouldn't have become such a big stupid meme in the first place.

It clashes for me, it doesn't taste right at all. It's fine if people like it, I don't. I love pineapple by itself, I even like it on ham. But to go with tomato and cheese, it's no different than putting mango or grapefruit on pizza. It just doesn't taste right with the other flavors.

Yea. A lot of burgers have a slice of pineapple in it. Any place that serves a teriyaki chicken sandwich will grill a slice of pineapple and put it in there with the tomatoe and lettuce. When you cook or grill it it caramalizes a little and the texture changes. It's just like adding a sweet sauce to your burger.

I always remove the pineapple and eat it separately after sandwich, and only in rare cases would I ever want to add a sweet sauce.
