back in college, there was a free clinic that would swab you and give you a comprehensive STD test for free. i went to see them after every new partner and kept the updated results in my room, so i could assure girls that i was clean

the bigger concern i had was generally them. college girls are shitty at taking their birth control and it seems like none of them get an STD test except if symptoms show up

when i look back it amazes me i never caught anything or knocked anyone up. wish i had gotten my vasectomy at 20 instead of 25.

the risk is relatively low (not zero) for a guy

but it was def a risk i took regularly

seriously though it was a big surprise to me when i realized it was basically the same whether the girl was hot or not, except the competition for a hot girl was 100x worse. any night i was flirting with a qt there would be multiple guys trying to muscle in, sometimes successfully. friends would always try to cockblock.
