Someone always calls in sick, so the schedule has to be reworked.
Someone always wants to switch shifts after I get the day off.

I've been there man, I've called in as early as 6 am CST because of a pukey, sleepless night, and someone STILL manages to beat me to it.

Only time I've ever been late was when my apartment was struck by lightning, and subsequently, burned down.

But people STILL get away with calling in sick every other week

So tell them no

Or say you need a "mental health day"

If anyone refuses you for that, they're a bigoted, xenophobic, misogynistic, racist narcissist.

I do say no but it's still annoying.
