AFAIK, the Freelancer class automatically gets all the passive skills from other jobs, so you only need to equip commands. Can someone confirm this?

No, Freelancers automatically have every passive skill equipped that the character has learned. However, since the AP you gain is wasted, you should keep your team in jobs unless you're in the end-game.

Every passive skill except Berserk I believe. Technically, not DoubleGrip or whatever the Two-Handed weapon ability is either, because Knights don't have it innately.

They have access to every ability that doesn't explicitly have to be equipped and is possessed at level 1 but only if you've mastered that job. For most jobs, this is actually just an increase in stats. It's similar to the freelance job from Bravely Default with the passive for every job mastered equipped.

It's offset by how insanely useful Blue Magic can be. Lv5 Death allows for a super early, super quick grinding trick.

Yeah, apparently I fucked up and missed it, don't know where I can get it now.

1000 needles is pretty good, but now my other party members are starting to catch up in damage output and it's starting to be less useful.

Divide up all the jobs evenly amongst the cast depending on their base stats. That's what I did.

For instance, if Bartz has high attack, load him up with attack jobs. If Galuf has high magic, stick him with magic jobs.

if the party limit is 3 i always have 2 guys and a girl
if the party limit is 4 then i prefer 3 guys and 1 girl or 2 guys and 2 girls

the 3 girls things bugs me and i dont know why
also im mostly fine with an all girl team but i dont like all male teams
