will he be prosecuted and sentenced as guilty? Or will it be another case of acquittal for a cop easily getting away with it?

his defense will be like ''but the suspect was about to pull out something. I was VERY VERY SURE it was a firearm!''

With so rare to none cases of cops ever receiving punishment for even the most stupidest of killing cases, I do wonder.

Imagine if a policeman just walks up to a law-abiding black dude minding his own business on the streets and just shoots him in the face. Probably will get acquitted too.

Wanna murder people and get away with it? Become a cop!

In an ideal world, yes.
In the real world, justice is not guaranteed.

One of my relatives had a long feud with a local law enforcement officer who lived down the block. The officer would basically use her authority to bully neighbors into conforming their properties to her standards while refusing to compromise on how hers looked (she had a ton of tacky lawn "art" out front). Her dog was a huge predator and was guilty of killing a bunch of neighboring poultry with even some of the carcasses being found on her property. Reports were made, but they didn't go anywhere. She made sure they didn't...

Everyone knew her husband was unhappy and wanted away from her, but he stuck around to avoid her wrath. She worked him like a beast of burden modifying their...her property. They eventually divorced, but I'm sure he paid a steep price for his freedom from a banshee.

It depends on the evidence, which the Jury has to go by. Not what was said, as human memories are pretty terrible. Which is why people are pushing bodycams, even though they are not that reliable either.

Get off, if they're a rookie on probation probably fired since during probie period anything will get you canned. FYI a personal friend of mine was killed in Brooklyn by a rookie cop, Akai Gurley.

evidence, my ass. A police can be filmed live shooting a guy and the court will still rule them not guilty. Remember the Castle case? The deceased was pulled over, asked for his ID and the cop immediately shot him when he went to reach for his ID.

Like seriously, wtf? How are these people even cops? They're so cowardly chicken, they'd murder people just to satisfy their paranoia of 'self-defense'
