The organized fight and then the duel were actually pretty damn dope. And then it ends, and what, we gotta wait a ****ing year for it to continue?

Who the hell thought that was a good idea? Should have just been a tighter, more cohesive one hour movie and oneshotter.

I just treat it as a two hour movie. Dunno why they felt the need to make it a "series."

Pretty sure they were testing the waters to see if more episodes would be worthwhile.

Since it has gotten glowing ratings from most people it's now greenlit for the 2nd season which will be 8 episodes.

I agree with you on that, but the fact is they released it as four extremely short episodes and apparently that was the wrapup for the whole season. It only just got renewed, and principle writing and drawing has only just begun because of it. I feel like it was a misfire, because even if it generated interest, a year or longer to wait is kind of absurd even if they have a budget to make it now from Netflix.

Trevor was done very well, the art was occasionally great and the two fights I mentioned were really entertaining but some other elements seemed incredibly rushed.

probably something in their marketing team was like, "people react well to multiple short episodes instead of one long film"
