So, my friend/roomate is moving out this weekend and has her own place now (renting a 2 bedroom for $900 a month).

As an apartment warming gift, I bought her a 10 pound bag of potatoes!!

I know it sounds bad, but the only thing she cooks/makes for herself is hashbrowns with eggs over them (didn't buy the eggs as there are some in the fridge already).

So when I went to go get the makings for Lasagna (going to make it tonight for her and her daughter one last time), I grabbed her a 10 pound bag as well hehe.

I did also get her a nice "no choke" collar for the dog she is going to be getting (couldn't have one while here due to my cat), and some puppy tracks to put on her tub (just no slip tub thingies in the shape of puppy paws), so it wasn't JUST potatoes.

Anyway, probably the worst home warming gift ever, but I think she'll like it.

Nah, an upper decker is worse.

I don't exactly know what that is, but I kinda get an idea what it is, and I don't want to know more about it.

Hey it's different then the usual bottle of wine. At least you know she'll use them.

My crazy aunt once gave someone a bag of pre-packaged rags from Walmart for a housewarming gift.
Her logic was 'Nobody starts out with rags! Rags take years to accumulate. Everyone needs rags!"
