Kesha is finally addressing her extremely awkward red carpet moment with Jerry Seinfeld.

In a new interview with Hits1 on SiriusXM, the singer gave her side of the story after being brutally denied a hug by the comedian.

"I felt like I was five years old," she revealed. "Instantly I was like, 'Oh, fuck me,' I somehow ended up in my very own mini episode of 'Seinfeld,' for like five seconds."

Kesha added that as a longtime fan of his show, she "should have known better."

"I've seen the hugging episode, that's my fault," she continued. "I've seen very episode a thousand times, I used to carry the whole season package with me everyone on my carryon, like DVDs. That's what I was trying to attack him. But, anyways, he's not a huggy guy, that's fine."

"As soon as he did it, I was like, this is going to be everywhere," she added.

After being "hug denied," Kesha said she considered avoiding handing out embraces in general.

"I had a moment where I was thinking to myself, maybe I should stop trying to hug everyone and attack them and then I was like, fuck that, no, I like hugging. Hugging is magical, hugging is beautiful, a beautiful exchange of wonderful like soul energy of I accept you, it's just this beautiful connection," she explained.

Shortly after the Seinfeld incident though, she got major redemption.

"And then, the most wonderful thing happened, my idol in life, Bob Dylan, agreed to meet up with me and I was so scared because I had just got hug denied ... I was a little hug traumatized," she added. "I walked up and stood there and smiled and he opened his beautiful arms and gave me the most wonderful, healing, Bob Dylan hug that I have ever dreamt of and I just could care less about anything else, because he gave me another hug at the end of the conversation. I got two Bob Dylan hugs. It was so beautiful and he was the reason I started writing songs."

Seinfeld previously explained what was running through his mind when he shut Kesha down on the red carpet.

"I'm 63, I don't know every pop star…I don't know everyone," he told Extra's AJ Calloway.

"I was right in the middle of an interview, it was a little off,” the comedian said. "When you get to be my age and you've done a couple things, you have your own reality, in my reality, I don't hug a total stranger. I have to meet someone, say hello. I gotta start somewhere ... hug is not first moment of a human, two humans. I never did that."
