Poll of the Day > Stranger Than Fiction is actually a pretty neat movie.

And Will Ferrell was a great leading man in a film that wasn't a comedy. I am impressed.

Funnily enough, I feel as though not killing Harold Crick off kept the movie from achieving greatness, just like the in-universe story the author was writing. The film's ending would have been more impactful had the protagonist died and the author finally jumped off a building like she fantasized about out of guilt.

nowadays i'm not even surprised that comedy actors can carry dramas.

I agree. I usually can't stand Will Ferrel, but he was great in that movie.

Adam Sandler was great in "Reign Over Me". Also, wasn't "Punch Drunk Love" a drama? People seem to agree that's one of the good Adam Sandler movies.
