MadDewg 07/04/17 6:04:38 AM #19:	For me in the NES generation, it was battle toads on the nes (battlemaniacs and battle toads and double dragons was a good deal easier compared to the nes original, imo). Mind you, I was a youngin' when I first got it and beat it, but no other video game that I have ever played required as much game overs, gittin' gud, patience, and tranquil fury from me compared to it. Even stuff like dark souls and bloodborne is a walk in the park compared to some of the pixel perfect stuff you had to pull in that game. The speed bike level is usually the one that crushes and spits out your average gamer, the slightly better ones usually get stomped at the snake pit, the really good gamers tend to fall at that either the one level where you have to swim through a bunch of pipes, dodging spikes and whatever else or rat race, etc., lol. The original ninja gaiden is a strong runner-up. You got to be on point to be dodging those damn eagles/bats towards the final stages. For the super nintendo generation, I had the most trouble with certain jrpgs. I remember breath of fire 2 on the snes busting my ass. (I beat the gba re-release mad easy though, so I'm not sure if capcom toned some stuff down with those ports or not). I don't recall struggling at much stuff in the playstation/64 era. For the PS2, the NA version of devil may cry 3 could get pretty rough since they bumped the difficulty up from the japanese release. I remember cerebrus fucking people up something serious back then even on normal, and agne and rudra finished off mad gamers, lol. In the new zelda it's the same way.
