Yes, it died this generation Yes, it died last generation (possibly related to the Casual Revolution of 2007) Yes, it died before 2007 No, it's still going No, and it will never die View Results I've been looking at older and newer games at GameStop and I see fewer casual games for this generation than last. Ever since the Casual Revolution of 2007, I think casuals have largely stopped gaming on dedicated gaming systems and instead opted on their iPhones. The Wii was the last stand for true casual gamers but once that died in 2012 everyone had an iPhone already and didn't bother with a Wii U or 3DS. I say it because there's not much casual games for PS4 and XBOX One compared to DS and Wii at GameStop but just look at the App Store... But what do you think? There has definitely been a move to PC and Mobile, but games for a casual audience still get made for consoles. --- I just decided to change this sig.
