home made coffee? Making/drinking instant coffee where we just add the coffee into hot water and be ready in less than one minute? I'm a coffee virgin so I am not familiar with these things. I gotta wake up 4-5 am everyday now and not feel like a zombie.

Put coffee in coffee maker and set an alarm to make it when you want it made. Wake up and proceed directly to coffee.

This is definitely quick and easy, and doesn't taste awful like instant does.

It really does make great coffee, and you can choose all kinds of different variants. And there's even a hot chocolate cup

Isn't it expensive af? And how long would it take to make a cup of coffee? Might be worth it, might not be. McDonald's large coffee is $1+tax but isn't open when I need it to open

It's like 10-20 seconds dude, a minute or so tops if you count the time for it to warm up prior to being ready. It's spectacular.

From a minute of online research, it looks like they max out at $150 but others are like $70. You shouldn't need many bells and whistles as long as it lets you choose the amount.

Note though: Normal Keurig cups create a lot of waste since they apparently can't degrade or be recycled. I believe there are reusuable/recycle-able ones though but they may be more expensive

Looks like Keurigs need a fuckload of maintenance/cleaning. My Keurig would be broken in like 6 months for not cleaning it. Looks like I'll buy a simple ass coffee maker. Some recommendations would be welcome.

you know a coffee maker is literally just dripping water onto the coffee through the filter and heating it up right?

No need to go SUPER expensive.

Put coffee in a clean sock and pour boiling water in the sock into a cup like a true wilderdude

French press. It's ~10 minutes. 5 to boil water, 5 to let the coffee steep in the boiling water. Not even a minute of prep.

edit: $20 bucks on amazon. Easiest thing to clean too.
