But instead for s4, we had Ghost Rider, Darkhold, the Patriot, AIDA/LMDs, and the whole Framework story arc. I was pretty thoroughly entertained throughout the entire season, especially once the Framework kicked in. IMO they pulled off the "alternate reality" stuff pretty damn well despite it being a pretty tried-and-true cliche with virtual reality-type stories. In the virtual world, she was alive and - even after learning that he was in-fact living in a false reality - didn't care that she was fake.
