It depends on what type of muscular men. It's often more accurate to say more women prefer fit men with photogenic faces, not so much pro bodybuilders. Many women prefer the "athletic built" male body or even the burly "dad bod" (which can count as fit enough).

Many women do like guys with ripped physiques, but with a combination of aesthetic human beauty still intact (the guy doesn't look like a juiced up science project). The muscles don't have to be massive and in a lot of cases it's better that they're not. It's why so many fangirls gush their panties for Christiano Renaldo. Comparatively he's not huge at all, but he's got a pretty face on top of a ripped average-sized bod. He's attractive and doesn't look freakish (with the exception of that statue rofl).

Usually when a bunch of women swoon over a pro bodybuilder, it's because he's got an Adonis face...not the balloon muscles. Frankly, some women consider the super vascular slabs of muscle on a guy's frame to be excessive and a turn off. Some women would actually feel less attraction to Christiano Renaldo if he was as pumped up as Ronnie Coleman. Meanwhile his male admirers would noticeably increase...
