I have not been playing games much lately outside of madden or some multiplayer on xbox with friends. I feel the steam sale is a good time to get a new game to change that.
So, if you had to recommend one game for me to buy from the Steam Sale, what would it be? I don't follow Steam, but if Trails in the Sky is on sale and you like JRPGs, get it. Fantastic series. Don't let the slower pacing of First Chapter get to you. Second Chapter, the direct sequel, is amazing and well worth it.

Undertale. It's an RPG with great music, memorable characters, a fun and surprisingly emotional story, and a super unique batlle system where it is really just a puzzle of sorts figuring out how to win with a bullet hell/platformer system.

I also recommend The Swapper. It's a platform puzzle Metroidvania game where you make clones of yourself and swap positions with the clones to solve puzzles and progress. Fantistic level design, environments and art direction with a captivating story.
There are people who are going to recommend console to PC ports or big name series which is fine, but the brst part of Steam sales are the indie games and big games you can't really get elsewhere that are phenomenal. --- Notyou ... Copied to Clipboard!
