I went the an aquarium this weekend and it was a lovely experience overall but I witnessed a potential act of cyberbullying.

There was a furry (A girl with a tail and very colorful hair. Not a full suit) minding her own business at the petting tank trying to pet sting rays when an unidentified female secretly recorded the furry from behind making sure to get the furry's tail in the frame while saying, "really?...really?" like someone who is annoyed at something. I can only assume this was to release this on the cyberbully's social media platform of choice. Rude.
The furry didn't do anything to the other girl. The furry just really liked petting fish from what I gathered because whenever the girlfriend and I walked by that area, there she was. Petting fish.
The furry will likely never find out that this took place and her face was never on film due to her being recorded from behind so that is at least some positive details.

I can see this story looking like a made up internet story but it was an event I witnessed.
The idea of someone doing this makes me sad and having seen it makes me more afraid it might happen or has happened to me. Not because I am a furry(I am not) but just because of how I look.

Just because someone wears a tail and has colorful hair doesn't make them a furry.

People are assholes, this is a rule of life. I would hardly call this a "cyber bullying case."

It was just one asshole recording a video for her friends in hopes of getting a laugh out of them.

That girl that got recorded couldn't care less because she already has gotten over the potential public embarrassment of wearing a tail.

I've only ever known one furry in real life and when she is not in her fur suit for conventions or whatever she has a tail on.
