I mean, likely not drunken one night stands as influenced by booze, but certainly for anything more committed I would want to know.

Like Ash, typically content to take people at their word for it (as long as they've had a test anyway)

It is true. But you gotta protect yourself and not just blindly assume people are clean. Some STDS are far more prevalent than many people likely realise and many people may not even realise it.

For most people, I will take their word. If they had unprotected sex within those 6 months, I would want to know.

But I'm not fucking around with STDs. Literally, can give you cancer.

It's extra tricky too when people can have them but not know about it, and also how few people are aware that condoms don't really offer much protection against the common ones and assume they're all clear.

I date attractive women. I've almost never liked the answer when I've actually found out. It's a lot easier for women to rack up numbers than men, and it's basically a jealousy thing for me.

That said, it's usually easy to tell. Sexually driven girls are going to have higher numbers period, so it ain't a surprise. The scenario that really bothers me is when you're dating a sweet girl who doesn't put out much but had a wild past.

This was basically my recent ex. No idea how "wild" her past was, but a lot of people have crazy stints in college and then mellow out. What really aggravated me was that she was like a camel when it came to sex and I'm used to the women I date wanting to fuck my brains out all the time. Was weird.

If in this case her past is doing fun kinky sex stuff, then we're probably not the best fit in the first place if she's trying to put that behind her. This may be my biology kicking in, but the idea of a woman being like "oh I used to do all this crazy sex stuff with my ex's... but I'm not doing any of that with you!" is one of the biggest possible turnoffs imaginable. It just feels like a straight up insult to your face.

I don't know how trustworthy your girlfriend is, so I can't answer that question for you. She has never had a boyfriend beforehand? Never gone clubbing with friends, never had special "homework" study sessions with male classmates before, never done car pooling with guys, never had a male friend who always seems to be hanging around, nothing like that? If never is the answer, then congratulations you've found a unicorn.
