Isn't that, like, some kind of living bacteria?

No thanks.

Probiotics have been around for a while.

Makes more sense than gluten did. You've got more bacteria cells in your gut than human cells in your body.

If you've eaten yogurt, you've ingested probiotics. It's the naturally occurring bacteria in your gut that aides in digestion and eliminates the build up of crud in your intestines.

It's been around, and popular, for a long time now, it's nothing really new.

The probiotic hype train has been mainstream for at least nearly 20 years now but several cultures (hehe) throughout history and all over the world have, in one way or another, enjoyed or espoused the benefits of probiotics. Yogurt, kombucha, kefir, and a variety of fermented foods like sauerkraut have been elevated to high status for the health benefits, even way before the science was understood.

Still, as with anything of this nature, there's good and bad and the good likely isn't as good as some people will have you believe.

I'm confused, are people avoiding probiotics for some reason, like they're avoiding gluten?

pure gluten is far worse, makes johnson fly off and burns us.
**** it, going to find either yoplait or some tillamook ice cream and buy a few of those later, it doesn't have to be coffee.

orange cream or key lime ftw.
