You can't miss anything. Even after you beat the game you can still explore and find stuff you missed.

City and Knight have some cool side content but nothing that affects the main story.

Yeah, Exploting is just the riddler trophies.

It's more a pain in the ass then it is good content.

Riddler trophies aren't worth the effort so don't do them if you don't want to.

It's been a long time since I played Asylum, but City is surprisingly jam-packed with details despite being a decently large game. You won't find new gadgets or anything, but there's a lot of things that are just interesting to see that you may stumble upon. But besides that the campaign takes you everywhere for both games.

Origins is really empty so don't worry about exploring there.

Knight is also pretty meh on the details, they made the game really big but there's no purpose to it besides 'batmobile go long time.'

Buy a used copy of origins from game stop. Play it and get a full refund on their used game policy.

Asylum is very Metroidvania and City is a great open world Batman game. People usually go between the two, so it's based on your preference.

They do give you experience so you can upgrade your gadgets faster, but honestly just playing through and fighting enemies is fine, some of the upgrades aren't worth it.

The riddler trophies are not worth the effort. You won't get the "true" ending unless you get 100%. But just youtube it if you're that concerned.

200 is just an unreasonable amount to do.

Asylum is extremely linear. The others you'll miss some side-story bits but nothing major.

The best ones are Asylum and City anyway.. Origins is just disappointing from the start, and while Knight was good, I just didn't enjoy the experience as much. Guess they made the game too centered around the batmobile for my taste..
