The issue with most new browsers is lack of plugin support. So while there are good new ones, they're mostly used by people who have issues with privacy and wouldn't have a lot of plugins in the first place.

Wow so Firefox is cutting out a bunch of plugin compatibility? I use a lot of those. What is the advantage to removing them?

Mozilla has the strange idea that becoming a crappy Chrome clone will somehow draw users away from Chrome, and somehow not cause a mass exodus of its own users.
