I've only heard of the last 2 sets. The first 2 are more hardcore, so worst comes to worst I can mosh with like 2 other people. But I've come across decent openers, hell i first heard of the headliner when they opened for another band.

Oh yeah I'm looking forward to them. Not the biggest fan of Eidola but their guitarist killed it with DGD during their 10 year.

Ugh I've been out of the loop too long. Need to catch more post hardcore concerts. I think I'm done seeing DGD for a bit, seen them like 4-5 times.

they're pretty much the same now since they have an actual consistent line up, I'm still not a huge fan of the tilian era

tbh idk much for post-hardcore as well, local bands and the shows they play help out though. also getting into some japanese stuff cause post-hardcore is DGD basically, they're the most popular they've ever been and are leading the scene

I just listen to a lot of old DGD and rep my friends' bands, listening to a lot more metal and screamo lately

I mean I like Tillian, it took him a while but now he's finally at home with the band so he'll venture out a bit more like on Mothership. But I find myself listening more to Happiness and DTBMII instead of the newer stuff. And yeah, most Post-Hardcore now is either old bands releasing new stuff, borderline metalcore, or DGD knockoffs/Swancore which has largely run its course. I mean check the post hardcore subreddit and half the bands are tagged "FFO: DGD,...".

I've been on an electronic kick lately so I've mostly abandoned -core. I still listen to some Emo revival or Math now and then, but it's largely meh. I want more shit like letlive. (their new album was trash) or Blood Brothers. Guess that doesn't sell.

lol exactly the same here, I fall back on everything pre-tilian and I've been bumping DBM2 nonstop again for like 2 weeks now. it's my favorite next to happiness, I think I actually like it better. jonny craig has taken my spot for fav vocalist for sure now. yeah dude all these new bands sound like DGD which makes sense cuz they're leaders but it gets stale as hell

I listen to older and european screamo a lot, I prefer that style. math rock I got kinda burned out on too. I listen to metalcore so I got some more options, but usually it just shit I already listened to and not that much is new to me. trying to get into some more stuff but I keep falling back on a couple japanese bands that are awesome

What Japanese bands you on? I only ever listened to Fact and Ling Tosite Sigure.

I simply can't do metalcore except like Converge or more grindcore shit. Screamo I'm on that skramz, Saetia and whatnot. Luckily that stuff is always good.

This band Arbus I really like, they're like post hardcore hardcore something I can't really pin their genre but they make interesting and awesome music. bilo'u makes something more like deathcore, Coaltar of the Deepers manages to hit several different genres and sound great in all of them but are mostly shoegaze, then Indigo La End is just like some rock but they sound great

I think the blood brothers guys were in a grind project recently I gotta listen to. I like metalcore that's pretty aggressive and not a lot of the standard fare garbage

Since you like Saetia have you listened to Hot Cross? One of my favorite bands. Also check out Ghost Spirit, got Alex bigman doing some straight up screamo

Oh yeah I love Hot Cross. Ive listened to most of your standard Screamo, started on Saetia/Hot Cross/Circle Takes the Square.

Limbs was pretty good, hardcore and an early mosh pit but I'm just posting up against a wall with my beer for now. I think Capsize might not be playing but we'll find out. Regardless it's almost time to kick this shit into gear.
