I stuck with my Galaxy S2 for 4 years before the lag is too much for me to tolerate.
Switched to Oneplus One and the battery sucks now after 2 years+ and thinking of switching to Oneplus 3 now. Before the rise of smartphones, I went through 3 Nokias in 4 years. --- "Average Joe" is a trolling term since it's completely an opinion. My first phone was given to me in 2004. My sister got her own phone account so my parents gave me her old one. I was in 7th grade and felt like a fucking badass.
Got a new phone a year later when upgrades were available. Held onto that badass flip phone til the last day of 10th grade when I flipped it open too hard and the top literally broke off the bottom. Went to the Verizon store that afternoon and bought an LG enV2. Loved that thing. Had a full qwerty keyboard and the screen was so high quality. Lasted til my senior year when the screen stopped working. Went back to the Verizon store and decided to join the smartphone craze, before every fucking person on Earth had one. Got the Motorola Droid in February 2010, and holy shit it changed my life. It became shitty and laggy so in 2012 I traded up to a Droid Razr. I dropped it in a parking lot around Christmas 2013 and upgraded to an HTC One M7. Had that for about two years and then last March decided to go back to Motorola with a Droid Turbo 2. Still have it and it's a fucking beast. I plan on keeping it for a long time. /Blogfaqs --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Bought a Samsung Intensity in 2010. Signal towers were being changed up earlier this year making my model and others older than it obsolete and unable to get a signal, so this past February I bought a Samsung Galaxy J1 6 (I don't know what the numbers mean).
So in short 2 phones over the last 7 years. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

4-6 phones every year. Some years even more.
Not necessarily switching them with my main phone though, which is usually an iPhone or Galaxy. --- It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. - The Doctor ... Copied to Clipboard!

When they break. I'm considering making exception though. I really want to sell my S6 and buy Axon 7, which i originally was going to buy, but got impatient with all the waiting. I could afford for Axon 7 anyway, and could like buy it immediately, but i will get so much shit from my father who doesn't understand why i'd sell my S6.
S6 battery life is just so bad, i thought it wouldn't bother me, but it does. Also, Axon 7 has suberb audio quality with or without headphones. Its only second to Marshall phone. S6 is supposed to have good audio according to gsm arena, but it has pretty weak output, not the worst, but if i use my 16 Ohm cans, i have to put the volume to like 70%, and 16 Ohm is not much. Actually, the overall sound quality while using headphones with S6 is pretty bad, needs to use portable amplifier to get proper listening experience and that's deal breaker to me. --- What's cooler than werewolf? Slightly irrelevant but I once lost my phone at my friends. It was one of those brick like Nokia 6500 or something. About a year later his dad was cutting the lawn and found it. I came over and it turned right on. I used to open beers with that phone.
