Currently working as a pharmacy tech. I enjoy the work well enough, but after getting some drop off training I've run into a pretty big problem:

I can not make out half the shit these doctor's write. Which is kinda important to entering the prescriptions correctly. So whenever a hand written prescription cones in, 9 times outta ten I need to ask the pharmacist on duty what the hell it says. Obviously they don't like that at all, so it's just an unpleasant work environment right now.

If I gotta deal with this kinda writing all the time then I'm fucked for the foreseeable future. I may as well work plain retail for now and look at careers outside of health.

It's one of reasons why there's a big push for e-prescribing. Fortunately, I don't work as a retail pharmacist so I'll never have to deal with the issue.
