Nope, never plan on getting one. Too expensive + don't really give a fuck about top of the line graphics + no point having both an Xbox and PS4.

I'm good for this gen.

It doesn't catch my attention in the slightest. It's too much money just to play some games and/or watch some movies.

I already have a 1TB Xbox One, so I don't see any need to upgrade. I don't care enough about graphics to spend that much and I don't think I even have a 4K TV.

This year's E3 didn't convince me to buy anything if we're being real here.

If there was some kind of decent trade-up program, then maybe. Like getting at least half ($250) off for send MS your original model, but that isn't realistic.

Even then, it'd still be $250 for a system that plays the same games.

there's nothing ms could do to convince me to buy a 400 dollar paperweight with no games other than a handful of shmups

Hell no. I already own a regular Xbox One and after hearing the Crackdown 3 dev's say it was going to remain 30fps across platforms it's pretty much cemented for me that barely any games will take advantage of that power.

Yeah like the PS4 Pro the biggest focus seems to be on getting higher resolutions and not much else. Microsoft have just thrown more money into reaching it natively. I'm not interested in 4k at this point tbh

this is the first gen i have no interest in getting all 3 systems. there's no exclusives on xbox one that i'm interested in. rare replay is honestly the only game i feel i'm missing out on and that's all old games.

360 had plenty of exclusives. and i never bought an original xbox but at least the 360 had backwards compatibility so i could have played some of those although i never really did outside of halo 1 and 2.

then all the other consoles had plenty of reasons to make you want to get both but 95% of xbox one games are on ps4 and the couple that aren't are on PC.

If you have a PS4, PC and Switch for 2018 I don't think you'll miss out on a single game.

No, it's kind of a disappointment. It's actually running both AC Origins and Anthem at checkerboard 4k and 30 fps. I don't have a 4k tv anyways, but I might get one the next year or two and pick up one for its 4k blu ray player.

if i cared about frames i'd get it on pc, i don't intend on upgrading my tv for a few more years so 4k isn't a desire yet. If I did I have a 4k tv, i'd probably get one for the 4k bluray player.

I have a 500GB X1S. I'd rather spend extra money on a bigger hard drive. I might pick up an X in a couple years if it's down to like $250 and some developers have had time to take full advantage of it giving actual incentive to buy it.

X1S is also a 4K Blu-ray player for half the price

Just so you're aware if you end up getting a 4K TV and think about getting the X because of that

if mah og ps4 ever breaks maybe but since i know how to repair it probably not since ps4 is still cheaper

Not really interested in their exclusives, many of which come to W10 anyway so there's no real incentive to buy one.

I'm only really interested in the Forza games and I can get those on PC from now on, and I also own a 1080p TV and monitor, so it's not like I'll get anything out of the console's 4k output

also, I already have an Xbone that makes car sounds, which amuses me
