I wonder where Scars block will end up. on one hand, the whole war narrative and uncertainty about whether it would be Mirrodin Pure or New Phyrexia was cool, but Mirrodin Besieged was sort of bland. On the other hand, New Phyrexia was crazy OP. To this day it remains the set with the most format staples in it, and the printing of Batterskull brought Caw-Blade to it's final, terrifying form. The printing of Deceiver Exarch meant the post-ban period was a Splinter-Twin format, but that's more on Twin than Exarch.
