I HATED Batman v. Superman

Disliked Man of Steel and I dunno if Suicide Squad is a part of this but I really disliked that movie too.

Wonder Woman, though...was pretty good. It had its share of Snyder in it, particularly too much slow motion and a love affair with the color grey, but the fights were fun and the story entertaining. I don't think Ares was really needed and felt kinda shoehorned in at the end, I think it would have been better if the movie left off on the message that 'humanity will humanity, you do what you believe is right" with Ares either being sequel bait or even just a conceptualization of human war that Diana was made to believe. But, the movie needed a big bang climax, I suppose and it wasn't that bad, all told.

I really liked Gal Gadot. She got more and more attractive as the movie went of. There was a lot of great framing and shot composition and for the first time in a (modern) DC movie, I though that yeah, this is a DC comic. I didn't feel anything like that with BvS or Man of Steel. Diana is real likeable, and her character shows a lack of understand of the outside world without any real moments of 'idiot naive'. Also, Steve dying at the end was a real good move and punctuated the theme pretty well (even it was just to keep him out of further movies).

The film had its problems, sure, like too much grey saturation, slow motion, some story issues and an really unneeded love subplot between Steve and Wonder Woman, but really stands on its own. It's also the best DC movie made in the new style so far.

Oh, really?

Well, I take that back, then and change my complaint to simply 'there was a bit too much slow-mo and sometimes the faded colors annoyed me'.

Mm, let's keep Snyder out of everything from now on. Hope he dies.

I could not take Ares with that moustache seriously. Like it showed him weakened after his fight with Zeus and he still had that damn moustache centuries ago and I nearly chuckled out loud.

Agreed with the excess slow-mo, though overall I did enjoy the movie.

I went to see it with my sister who at once pointed out that the guy who played Ares was also Professor Lupin in Harry Potter so there went the seriousness of that character.

Even if I didn't know that though, he looked like Von Kaiser from Punch-Out.

Seriously though. Seems a bit extreme to wish that upon him.

Ah, I'm just overblowing it for fun. I really don't wish him dead, it's just an extreme to get across how much I dislike his works.

It's a good 2/3 of a movie. Ares ruins it. Crossing the line was bad ass as fuck.

Fuck yeah it was.

I also really liked that little showdown in the alley where it was a top-down view of her just saying nope to all those guys and their bullets.

He already left Justice League because his daughter died. Saying "Hope X dies" is too far to say about someone who is just a director.

He was a producer and helped write the original story. And seeing as he was supposed to oversee all of the DCEU he very likely had some hand in production.

I think me and you have different outlooks on the line between humor and serious.

As sociopathic as it makes me sound, I really don't have as much respect for life as you. Death is death, life is life and it's all a dream anyway that matters not one little bit so have some fun with it. Fun by watching Wonder Woman and badmouthing an awful director who thankfully has nothing to little to do with this movie and THANKFULLY nothing to do with the Justice League movie. Srsly his movies all suck ass.

JL is still going to be heavily influenced by Snyder. He literally just left, and I think he finished all the recording. It's just post he'll have nothing to do with, which will help a lot but his stain is already well soaked in.
