Do you just learn it in the classes or are you expected to know some programming before starting the actual degree? I recently did all my prerequisites (math, chemistry and physics) and got a 3.8 GPA. You need 2.7 to get into software engineering, so I suppose I'm probably going to get in. But I don't really know any programming aside from very basic HTML that I learned in the 90s. And I'm 33 (I'm old, so I got to study like crazy to get the best grades and make myself attractive despite all the kids in there) One of the first semester classes is called "project-oriented programming." I don't know what that means but it sounds like it's a bit beyond something like "introduction to programming" or something similar... --- I don't hate people, people hate me. ...
