Almost half of non-group insurance plans didn't cover substance abuse treatment at all prior to Obamacare, and of the 55% of plans that did, more than 1/3 limited coverage to a certain amount of sessions per year (22% to 30 or fewer sessions per year, 12% to 12 or fewer sessions per year)

The AHCA would allow states to repeal substance abuse coverage as a essential health benefit
