I'm the general public. I don't care about superheroes really.

I knew he's weak to kryptonite, which enough people know for the word to actually be a real English word used in common speech. And he's from Krypton. Sent here by his parents when it was about to explode for some reason. He was raised in rural America and kept his powers secret. He moved to a big city and became a news reporter, where he balances his job with protecting humans from dumb shit. I knew he can't see through lead, but I hadn't thought of that for a long time. And I knew he gets power from the sun. His enemy is that bald guy...Lex Luthor. Took me a second to remember his name. IDK why Lex hates Superman but he does.

Other than that, I know some of his powers--flight, strength, invincibility, ice breath, laser eyes, xray vision, enhanced hearing. And he flew around the planet in that one movie to undo the hoover dam breaking. And he is in love with Lois Lane, another reporter at the Daily Bugle or whatever, who always nearly kills herself so he can save her. Also he's meek as Clark Kent but acts confident as superman.

I also know he dies at some point in the comics, then comes back in a black suit. That's probably more than most people know, but my brother is a fan of the cartoons and so I've absorbed a little bit from him.

Oh yeah he also has a secret base in Antarctica where his father Skypes with him from the dead.

Did I get everything? I think that might be everything I know about him.
