It used to be worthless. I never thought it would take off when CE first started talking about it around 7 or 8 years ago.

But here we are....

I'm pretty sure I first heard about bitcoin when they were worth less than a cent.

The last time I thought about bitcoins were when the prices were first hitting the $60-80 range I think. The value was pretty volatile at the time.

I just thought "there's no gold or anything backing it, who the hell would want digital currency?"

Now I realize with online banking and so much business being done electronically, it kind of makes sense.

If it makes you feel better most people probably sold well early either because they were excited to make a few hundred dollars or to play it safe.

Here's the thing: when I first heard about it, I could have bought $5 dollars worth. Even if I sold it when it was like $60-$80 I would have made a good bit of money.

The idea is that if I could see the future, I could have literally made millions with less than $100 by selling now.
