microsoft asked them before if they'd even consider cross platform play, and sony gave a resounding "fuck no, fucker" to microsoft.

and look at that, game just got cross platform play and doesn't have playstation in it

How's that going to work? Isn't the Switch version going to have smaller maps? And aren't all the console versions smaller than the PC version? Or is the "PC" version just the lame-ass Windows 10 edition

Yeah, I thought that was the best part, but then again I've never owned an Xbox console and have no intention to start.

Not going to lie though... I also liked the super duper graphics update thing. I know you could do stuff like that and better on PC for years now, but it's cool that it's being put into the game natively.

I'd love to see how a competent developer would handle them.

A lot of them were made by 16 year olds learning Java.

That's the Minecraft modding community's crutch.

Even on PC, if you mod your game it's not going to reflect for anybody you play online with unless they're using the same mod.

he's talking about server mods, and no, they wont work on console.

unless you can somehow make a server with mods on the windows 10 version of minecraft and have everyone connect to that, but i suspect this will only use realms and their multiplayer games thing.
